National Standard For Forklifts

Driven by market demand, many products of various forms have emerged. For a time, there were confusion in the logos, different functions, no testing basis, and many disputes... Therefore, under the leadership of the Standardization Department of Xiamen Market Supervision and Administration Bureau and the Secretariat of the Earthwork Standards Committee of the China National Standards Committee (TC334), in July 2014, Xiamen Xiajin Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xiajin Machinery) took the lead in establishing the drafting of the "National Standard for Tire-type Block Material Forklifts", and the Secretariat was affiliated with Xiajin Machinery. In December of the same year, the "Drafting Working Group for the National Standard for Tire-type Block Material Forklifts" was established in Xuzhou. On July 1, 2019, three national standards for forklifts were officially implemented. The names of these three national standards are: GB/T36974-2018 "Earth-moving machinery - Tire forklifts - Technical conditions", GB/T36977-2018 "Earth-moving machinery - Tire forklifts - Test methods", and GB/T36978-2018 "Earth-moving machinery - Tire forklifts - Test methods for fuel consumption".
