With the continuous development of the stone block mining market, the size and weight of blocks represented by stone have increased rapidly, and professional products with block handling functions are urgently needed, and forklifts came into being.
In the early historical stage, the market demand for the production and handling of blocks was not so huge. The block volume was small, generally about 1~2 m3, and the weight was small, generally less than 5 t. Therefore, the purpose of production and handling could be achieved by modifying existing equipment (usually loaders). As shown in the figure:
With the continuous increase in market demand, the weight of block materials has risen to 16 tons, 27 tons, 32 tons, 40 tons, and 52 tons. Correspondingly, the volume of block materials has risen to 5 cubic meters, 7 cubic meters, 9 cubic meters, 12 cubic meters, and 15 cubic meters. Whether from an economic perspective or a technical safety perspective, using a loader with modified attachments is not only far from meeting the operation and safety needs of large-tonnage block materials, but also this modification is just a simple replacement and emergency response, which can easily lead to serious consequences such as damage to stones, vehicle rollover accidents, frame and drive axle fractures, and threaten the safety of users' lives and property. In such a market context, a real forklift loader is urgently needed by stone mine miners.
