When the rough materials in the mine are cut and then transported, the forklift will insert the fork into the bottom of the rough materials and retract the fork for transportation. After reaching the designated location in the storage yard, the rough materials will be slowly lowered from the fork. Precautions for forklifts when used in mines:
① It is recommended to find an experienced operator who is certified to work and keep records of daily use and maintenance;
② Purchase one or more forklifts that are heavier than the weight of the rough material (for example, if the rough material weighs about 28T, it is recommended to purchase a forklift of about 30T. Although a 28T forklift can fork 28T rough materials, it is very unfavorable for the forklift if it is used at full load for a long time;
③ Regularly maintain the forklift and use accessories from regular manufacturers. Do not be greedy for small profits and lose more than the gains. Replace antifreeze in low temperatures in winter;
④ Do not use the forklift in violation of regulations (for example, pry up oversized rough materials and insert rough materials that exceed the original model by a lot, and do not use a single fork;
⑤ Do not operate with illness, and continue to use it knowing that a fault has occurred, thereby causing more damage to components;
⑥ Be sure to use the forklift safely and in a standardized manner.
