Many years of production practice at home and abroad have proved that wheel loaders are suitable for the following tasks:
1. Used for loading, pushing and discharging, lifting and traction in engineering construction such as open-pit mine development and stripping, railway foundation construction and road paving.
2. Used to replace excavators and cars as the main mining, loading and transportation equipment in small and medium-sized open-pit mines; can be used in conjunction with cars, and can also be used to transport ore and rock to crushing stations.
3. In some large open-pit mines, cooperate with excavators to carry out mining and loading work and other auxiliary operations under complex conditions (such as selective mining, end of working face, blast pile dispersion, trench digging, etc.).
4. It can be used for mining, loading and transportation combined operations on working faces with large slopes to complete difficult mining work.
The two common tire-type and crawler-type front loaders each have their own characteristics. Although the crawler-type front loader has large traction and shoveling force, and good off-road and climbing performance, it is slow and inflexible, and sometimes requires a trailer to transfer the work site, and the construction cost is high. Therefore, crawler front loaders are rarely used in open-pit mines. The most commonly used in mines around the world are tire loaders, so they are produced in large quantities and their manufacturing technology is developing rapidly. The bucket capacity of the largest model has reached 40m3.
